Media brings together the resources
of Native American authorities and the technical expertise of highly
skilled television production professionals. L. Gordon "Gordy"
McLester III, is an Oneida Tribal Elder, a noted historian and an
author. He is the primary architect of the Native American Elders'
archival project "Voices of the Generations", in which he
interviewed hundreds of tribal elders, documenting the stories of
their lives and times.
Firelight Media also offers the video production
expertise of Bob Rozoff and Alan Condra. Their combined experience
includes 50 years of video and related media production.
Bob has produced numerous award winning video
programs on a wide variety of Native American topics. His awards
include this year’s “Award of Excellence”. This
award is representative of our commitment to provide our clients
with effective media productions. The honor was presented at the
2003 Indian Summer Festival Film and Video Image Awards. The program,
“Our People – Our Nation” explores the Stockbridge-Munsee
Mohican Nation of Wisconsin. It demonstrates a resolute determination
to survive while revealing the unique culture, tribal government
and welcoming personalities that define the people of the Stockbridge-Munsee
Reservation.
In addition to video production, Alan
is also a professional still photographer, with many years of experience
in the food industry. Alan’s photography complements his web
design services that he provides for a wide variety of clients.
